The game plays out in 2D side-scroll fashion, where you control balance, jumps, and flips with simple arrow (or WASD) keys - but the outcome often depends on how well you time your tricks. Do enough stunts (wheelies, air time, somersaults) and you'll fill a stunt meter, which triggers a boost meter that propels you faster - but crash, and you're sent back to the last checkpoint.
What really gives CycloManiacs its charm is the mix of creativity, challenge, and reward.
